Metatron’s Cube Altar Cloth
Create a beautiful and intentional space for your crystals, rituals and personal intentions with this Metatron’s Cube Altar Cloth.
Featuring an intricate Metatron’s Cube sacred geometry design, this altar cloth provides a visual framework for arranging crystals and creating your own crystal grid.
The upholstery velvet sits nicely flat, making it easy to place crystals directly onto the design. Its substantial texture also gives the altar cloth a luxurious, tactile feel, while the fabric does not fray.
Use the geometric pattern as a guide when arranging your chosen crystals. Crystal grids bring together crystals, sacred geometry and focused intention, creating a meaningful space for meditation, reflection, intention-setting and personal ritual.
Metatron’s Cube is Traditionally Associated with
◈ Protection & Grounding ✦ Balance & Harmony ◈ Spiritual Awareness
⬡ Metatron’s Cube Symbolism
Metatron’s Cube is a sacred geometry design made from thirteen interconnected circles and the straight lines that join them. Together, these elements create an intricate geometric pattern containing many other shapes within its structure.
Within modern sacred geometry and spiritual practices, Metatron’s Cube represents balance, harmony, protection and the interconnected nature of creation.
The central circle forms the starting point of the design, while the surrounding circles expand outward to create its distinctive structure. The geometric lines then connect the circles, creating a sense of order, unity and balance.
The design also contains forms that relate to the five Platonic solids. These geometric forms have held symbolic significance within sacred geometry and philosophical traditions for centuries.
Today, many people use Metatron’s Cube as a visual focus for meditation, contemplation and personal spiritual practice. Similarly, crystal enthusiasts can use its intricate geometry as a framework for creating a purposeful crystal grid.
However, these traditional associations do not dictate how you should use the design. You might feel drawn to Metatron’s Cube because of its symbolism, its intricate geometry or simply its visual appeal. From there, choose crystals that reflect your own intention.
⬡ Creating A Metatron’s Cube Crystal Grid
First, choose an intention that feels meaningful to you. Then, select crystals based on their traditional associations or your own personal connection with them.
Next, arrange your crystals across the Metatron’s Cube design and use the geometric pattern as a visual guide. You might create a symmetrical arrangement, repeat several crystals throughout the pattern or place one particular crystal at the centre.
There is no single correct way to create a crystal grid. Instead, allow your arrangement to develop naturally. You can keep it simple or create a more elaborate design.
As your intentions change, you can also change the crystals within your grid. In this way, the same altar cloth can support many different personal rituals.

⬡ Handmade In Napier
My lovely friend Storm screen prints these newer Sacred Geometry Altar Cloths here in Napier, New Zealand.
We hand cut each piece of upholstery velvet into an approximately square shape, taking care to centre the design as closely as possible. Because the designs vary in size and we hand cut each piece individually, the finished dimensions and positioning may vary slightly from cloth to cloth.
These individual variations form part of the handmade character of each altar cloth.
The upholstery velvet sits nicely flat and does not fray. You can also trim the cloth further to suit your own altar, shelf or crystal space.
